 Why RBI?
Seeing a need for an indoor facility where serious players could hone their baseball skills year-round, RBI was opened in January 2000. RBI was designed to help all players establish a solid foundation of skills in hitting, throwing, and fielding through one-on-one or group instruction, and regular batting practice against Iron Mike machines (used by major league teams across the country). Our services have grown and now include video analysis, camps/clinics, year round membership opportunities, and select teams for players wishing to compete at the college level. RBI has become a one-stop shop for all of Austin's baseball needs, but the original services that have made RBI a hit for the past six years still exist.
These include:
- 8 indoor batting cages that can be rented by the public
- Iron Mike arm-style pitching machines with leather baseballs
- Pro-shop carrying top of the line equipment
- Private instruction with former professional and college baseball players and coaches
